Always amazing quality for the cheap price.. definitely on par with the likes of Papasito's even tho the building is smaller and the food comes out individually in really large orders.. I would go here over the standard Mexican restaurant simply because of its authenticity.

counter call. Serve to table. Beens are simple, unadorned. Rice is anemic. I ate Pork Tamales. The flavor is there, inside and covered with the cleanest and lightest tasting Masa. The sauce is red ranchera. Good experience. All is fresh. Not tried the tacos.

Occasionally, I go to SETX and Louisiana so I'm looking for good local places to stop for meals. On my last trip I decided to stop at Burrito Express for a late breakfast. The burritos had rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese. My barbacoa taco made for a great dinner: it was great lightly reheated. Their burritos are generous and kept me full until supper. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast menu and tortas.

Im addicted The Burrito Express w/carnitas omg i can't get enough... I work in the area but live in deer park... Seriously considering driving my family over there to eat ! It's worth it !

We Always stop here when we're in town, honestly wish there were some in Lake Charles Louisiana! Excellent food and usually always comes out pretty fast.. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars though is because it's SO greasy.. The Burrito express will leak straight through the tinfoil wrapper and even through the napkins you wrapped around it. My only wish is that it didn't come with a pound of grease :(

Ok first time there, this will be my new go to when I'm in Winnie. This was so good

So so yummy! Anytime we are driving to Galveston this place is a MUST! we love the barbacoa tacos and we pour queso on them! The staff is always super friendly as well. Definitely recommend to anyone craving some delicious tacos!

We stopped here on our road trip back to San Antonio from Florida and absolutely loved it. The service was quick and pleasant and very tasty ingredients were used to make our burritos. The horchata was that perfect homemade consistency as well. The only critique is that the red salsa was a bit too runny compared to the green. Sad that it will be awhile before we make it back to try more of what they have!

Good food but slow service

I love this place. Work locally at the nail salon and go here for breakfast all the time. Its always a wait and the food is worth it!

We love Burrito Express! We eat here quite often mostly through drive-thru. I don't think we've ever actually eaten inside but we normally eat breakfast burritos or dinner plates and every time we've eaten here the food has been amazing! It's a great quantity and quality of food for the price. We've been coming here since before they put in the actual sit-down restaurant part when they first opened and unless something drastically changes I imagine we'll eat here for as long as the restaurant stands.

Was passing through, stopped by because of the reviews and was not disappointed! I almost ordered 2 Burrito Express but glad I didn't because 1 filled me up, and only at $5 the portion size is great for the price. The service was fast and the servers were polite. Will definitely stop here again.
